WE WOULD GRACIOUSLY REQUEST ALL EXISTING AND NEW CUSTOMERS TO UNDERSTAND THAT DUE TO THE INCREASING DEMAND FOR ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCING WE OPERATE ON A “FIRST COME FIRST SERVED” BASIS. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY UNTIL A FIRM ORDER IS PLACED AND A DEPOSIT PAID.
MASSAGE TREATMENTS
DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF OUR SPA TREATMENTS AND THE NECESSITY TO ALLOCATE THERAPISTS, ALL TREATMENTS MUST BE BOOKED AND PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.
PAYMENT CONFIRMATION
Payments may be paid by bank transfer or direct deposit. You may secure your booking by giving us credit card details, but we would ask you to facilitate the bank transfer or deposit as soon as possible before arrival. No manual transaction will be done against your credit card and all details will be destroyed as soon as we receive payment into our bank account. Globally, there is a lot of credit card fraud and charge-backs, so we find the transfer or direct deposit to be more secure and reliable for both parties. Bank details will be supplied on request. For credit cards we need the card number, expiry date(mmyy) and three check digits to be found on the right hand side of the reverse of the card.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The policy of Chartwell Country Lodge with regards to cancellations is in line with Guest House and Bed and Breakfast industry standards.
Cancellation Terms :
Failure of the customer to arrive, or cancellations made 0 to 14 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit.
Cancellations made 15 to 28 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 75% of the deposit or 25% of the booking quote value, whichever the greater.
Cancellations made 29 days or more prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 50% of the deposit or 25% of the booking total, whichever is the greater.
On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, including bank details, we will refund the applicable amount, within 3 working days. Chartwell Country Lodge levies a 7% administration fee on any refunds processed. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R185 charge will be levied.
